Quinoa Pudding

Similar to the Arabic Dessert, Riz b Haleeb or Rice Pudding, this is a healthier version replacing the rice by quinoa => Quinoa Pudding. Love the flavors and how healthy this snack/dessert is!

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Serves: 1-2 people

 

Ingredients

  • ½ cup quinoa
  • 6 cups milk
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • Mistika
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Dried fruits for garnish

Directions

  1. Add milk and quinoa in a pot and simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes or until almost all the milk has been absorbed.
  2. After 10 minutes of the cooking time, add the honey, vanilla and mistika
  3. Pour the quinoa pudding in individual bowls and garnish the top with some dried fruits.
