Sweet Potato Puree with Coconut Milk

Purees are PERFECT once you start introducing solids to your baby.  They’re easy to make and your baby will love them + it helps you introduce as many ingredients & flavors to your baby as early as his/her 6 months one puree at a time. (This Sweet Potato Puree with Coconut Milk is the PERFECT Example)

Introduce them slowly; once your baby is used to one of them then you’re ready to introduce another one.

Preparation Time:  10 minutes
Cooking Time:  50 minutes
Makes: 550 g

Age: 6 months +
Storage in Fridge: Up to 3 days
Storage in Freezer: Up to months


  • 3 Sweet Potatoes
  • 1/2 cup Coconut Milk
  • 1/2 tablespoon fresh Coriander


  1. Preheat oven to 200 C
  2. Chop sweet potatoes into pieces.
  3. In an tray, lined with parchment paper, place potatoes and roast for 50 minutes.
  4. Once done, place into a blender, add coconut milk & coriander until you get a puree.
