Hummus Done in 3 Ways

I’ve always wanted to do this! Hummus done 3 Ways are fantastic starters to impress your guests + it’s so easy to make! Check the Video below and use a Food Processor instead of a Blender. (unless you have a strong blender)

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Blending Time: 5 minutes
Serves: 4 people


  • 2 cups Canned Chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup Tahini
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic (add 1-2 more if you are a Garlic fan like I am)
  • Lemon Juice from 1 Medium Lemon
  • 200g Beetroot – for the Beetroot Way
  • 2 Avocados – for the Avocado Way


1. Place all ingredients in a food processor until you have a thick paste – the Hummus- Tara!

2. I always divide the quantity into 3 equal parts:  Traditional (the way it is), Beetroot ( where I add the Beetroot to the Food Processor) and Avocado (where I add the Avocado to the Food Processor)
